SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Last Updated: 26 August 2026

GT Designs (Pty) Ltd provides customised printing, branding and design products. Because many of our products are made to order, customers should understand that production time and delivery time are separate.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are prepared, dispatched and delivered, as well as the collection options available from our store.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy.

2. DELIVERY OPTIONS

Depending on the products ordered and the customer’s location, GT Designs may offer:

  • Courier delivery;
  • Other available delivery services; or
  • Store collection from our premises in Brits.

The delivery and collection options available for a particular order may depend on:

  • Customer location;
  • Product type;
  • Product size and weight;
  • Order quantity;
  • Production requirements;
  • Courier availability; and
  • Other logistical considerations.

The available options and applicable charges will be displayed during checkout where supported by the website.

3. STORE COLLECTION

Customers may select store collection where this option is available.

Our collection address is:

GT Designs (Pty) Ltd
20 Maclean Street
Celtis Centre
Brits, South Africa
Between Autozone & VIP Salon

Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.

An order should not be collected before the customer has received confirmation that it is ready.

4. COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS

When collecting an order, customers may be required to provide:

  • Order number;
  • Proof of purchase;
  • Customer name;
  • Identification; or
  • Other reasonable information required to verify the order.

If another person is collecting the order on your behalf, GT Designs may require the customer to provide prior authorisation and the relevant collection details.

5. PRODUCTION TIME VS DELIVERY TIME

For customised products, the time required to receive your order consists of two separate stages:

1. Production time – the time required for GT Designs to prepare, customise and complete your order.

2. Delivery time – the time required for the courier or delivery service to transport the completed order to you.

The delivery period generally begins after the order has completed production and has been handed over to the applicable delivery service.

Selecting a faster delivery option does not necessarily mean that your order will be produced faster.

If you have a specific deadline, event or function, please contact GT Designs before placing your order so that we can confirm whether the requested timeframe is achievable.

6. CUSTOM ORDER PRODUCTION

Many GT Designs products are customised specifically for the customer.

Production may involve:

  • Artwork preparation;
  • Artwork approval;
  • Printing;
  • DTF printing;
  • UV printing;
  • Sublimation;
  • Embroidery;
  • Cutting;
  • Finishing;
  • Assembly;
  • Quality checking; and
  • Packaging.

Production will generally only begin once all information necessary to complete the order has been received.

This may include:

  • Successful payment;
  • Customer artwork;
  • Artwork approval;
  • Product specifications;
  • Sizes;
  • Quantities;
  • Personalisation details; and
  • Other information required for production.

7. ARTWORK DELAYS

Where an order requires artwork approval or additional information from the customer, production may be delayed until the required information or approval is received.

Examples include:

  • Customer artwork has not been uploaded;
  • Artwork is unsuitable for production;
  • The customer has not approved a proof;
  • Required text or personalisation information is missing;
  • Product specifications are incomplete; or
  • GT Designs is waiting for clarification from the customer.

Any delay caused by outstanding customer information may affect the estimated completion and delivery date.

8. DELIVERY FEES

Applicable delivery charges will be displayed during checkout where delivery pricing is available through the website.

Delivery charges may depend on factors such as:

  • Delivery location;
  • Package size;
  • Package weight;
  • Number of parcels;
  • Courier service;
  • Delivery method; and
  • Other applicable courier charges.

Where delivery requires a special quotation, GT Designs may contact the customer before dispatch.

9. DELIVERY AREAS

GT Designs may provide delivery to locations supported by the delivery services available to us.

The availability of delivery to a particular address may depend on the courier or delivery provider.

If a delivery address cannot be serviced using the selected delivery method, GT Designs may contact the customer to arrange an alternative delivery method or collection.

Additional delivery charges may apply where the alternative delivery method costs more than the original option selected.

10. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

This should include, where applicable:

  • Recipient’s full name;
  • Company name;
  • Street address;
  • Building or complex name;
  • Unit or office number;
  • Suburb;
  • City/town;
  • Province;
  • Postal code;
  • Contact telephone number; and
  • Any relevant delivery instructions.

GT Designs is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional charges caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer.

11. CHANGING A DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers should contact GT Designs as soon as possible if they need to change their delivery address.

A delivery address may only be changed where the order has not yet been dispatched and the change can reasonably be accommodated.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, the customer may need to arrange the address change directly with the courier.

Additional charges may apply.

12. COURIER DELIVERY

Where an order is dispatched using a third-party courier, the courier’s delivery terms and operating procedures may also apply.

Once the parcel has been handed to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier’s operational processes.

Courier delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Traffic;
  • Weather;
  • Public holidays;
  • High delivery volumes;
  • Incorrect addresses;
  • Recipient unavailability;
  • Remote delivery locations;
  • Operational disruptions;
  • Vehicle or equipment problems; or
  • Other circumstances beyond GT Designs’ reasonable control.

13. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

The courier may make one or more delivery attempts depending on the courier service selected.

If a delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Nobody is available to receive the parcel;
  • The address is incorrect;
  • The recipient refuses the parcel;
  • The courier cannot access the premises; or
  • Other circumstances attributable to the customer,

additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply.

Where possible, GT Designs will assist the customer in resolving delivery issues.

14. RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the order where the selected delivery method requires a recipient to be present.

Where applicable, customers may provide delivery instructions or an alternative authorised recipient.

GT Designs cannot guarantee that a courier will be able to follow special delivery instructions that are outside the courier’s standard procedures.

15. INSPECTION ON DELIVERY

Customers should inspect the parcel and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If the parcel appears to have been:

  • Damaged;
  • Opened;
  • Tampered with; or
  • Incorrectly delivered,

the customer should notify GT Designs as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, customers should take clear photographs of:

  • The outer packaging;
  • Any visible damage;
  • Shipping labels; and
  • The affected product.

This information may assist GT Designs when investigating a delivery or product-related issue with the courier.

16. DAMAGED PRODUCTS

If a product arrives damaged, please contact GT Designs as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer may be asked to provide photographs and other information to assist with the investigation.

GT Designs will assess the matter and, where applicable, provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy and applicable South African law.

17. INCORRECT OR MISSING ITEMS

If your order contains an incorrect or missing item, please contact GT Designs as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Order number;
  • Customer name;
  • Description of the issue;
  • Photographs of the received items; and
  • Any other information reasonably requested by GT Designs.

We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, arrange the applicable correction, replacement or other remedy.

18. LOST PARCELS

If a parcel appears to have been lost during delivery, customers should contact GT Designs so that the delivery status can be investigated with the relevant courier.

GT Designs may request information from the customer to assist with the investigation.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost and GT Designs is responsible for the applicable delivery arrangement, the matter will be handled in accordance with the applicable courier terms, our customer policies and South African law.

19. DELIVERY DELAYS

Delivery timeframes are estimates unless GT Designs has expressly agreed to a specific delivery date in writing.

Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Courier delays;
  • Severe weather;
  • Traffic;
  • Public holidays;
  • High-volume periods;
  • Power outages;
  • Equipment failure;
  • Supplier delays;
  • Material shortages;
  • Internet or system failures;
  • Labour disruptions;
  • Government restrictions; or
  • Other unforeseen circumstances.

Where a significant delay occurs, GT Designs will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.

20. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS

Production and delivery timeframes may be affected by:

  • Saturdays;
  • Sundays;
  • Public holidays;
  • Company closures; and
  • Courier operating schedules.

Customers should take these factors into consideration when ordering products for a specific event or deadline.

21. LARGE AND CORPORATE ORDERS

Large corporate, bulk or promotional orders may require special production and delivery arrangements.

For such orders, GT Designs may provide a separate quotation specifying:

  • Production timeframe;
  • Delivery arrangements;
  • Delivery charges;
  • Partial delivery arrangements;
  • Payment requirements; and
  • Other applicable conditions.

Where a separate written quotation or agreement has been accepted, its delivery provisions will apply to the relevant order to the extent permitted by law.

22. MULTIPLE PRODUCTS IN ONE ORDER

Where an order contains multiple products with different production requirements, GT Designs may wait until all products are ready before dispatching the order.

Where appropriate, GT Designs may contact the customer if partial delivery is possible or advisable.

Additional delivery charges may apply if the customer requests separate deliveries.

23. MULTIPLE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND RE-DELIVERY

If an order must be delivered again because of circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery charges may apply.

Examples include:

  • Incorrect delivery address;
  • Incomplete address;
  • Recipient unavailable;
  • Refusal to accept the package;
  • Failure to respond to courier communication; or
  • Failure to collect a parcel from an applicable collection point.

Any additional charges will be communicated to the customer where reasonably possible.

24. UNCLAIMED OR UNCOLLECTED ORDERS

Customers who select store collection should collect their orders after receiving notification that the order is ready.

Customers who fail to collect an order may be contacted by GT Designs to arrange collection.

Because many GT Designs products are custom-made specifically for the customer, failure to collect a completed custom order does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Any cancellation or refund request will be handled in accordance with our Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

25. DELIVERY OF CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Customers acknowledge that customised products require production before they can be dispatched.

Examples include:

  • Custom T-shirts;
  • DTF-printed garments;
  • Sublimated products;
  • UV-printed products;
  • Embroidered clothing;
  • Corporate clothing;
  • Branded corporate gifts;
  • Custom signage; and
  • Other personalised products.

The customer should therefore allow sufficient time for both production and delivery.

GT Designs cannot guarantee delivery before a customer’s event or deadline unless a specific timeframe has been confirmed in writing.

26. DEADLINES AND EVENTS

If you require an order for a:

  • Birthday;
  • Wedding;
  • Funeral;
  • Corporate event;
  • School event;
  • Promotional campaign;
  • Exhibition;
  • Sporting event; or
  • Other specific date,

please contact GT Designs before placing the order.

Customers are encouraged to order well in advance to allow sufficient time for artwork, production and delivery.

GT Designs will not be responsible for losses resulting solely from a customer’s failure to allow sufficient time for production and delivery where no specific delivery deadline was agreed in writing.

This clause does not limit any rights or remedies available to the customer under applicable law.

27. DELIVERY TRACKING

Where the selected courier service provides tracking, the tracking information may be provided to the customer once the order has been dispatched.

Tracking information is provided for convenience and is subject to the availability and accuracy of information supplied by the courier.

28. THIRD-PARTY COURIERS

GT Designs may use independent third-party courier and delivery providers.

These providers may have their own:

  • Delivery terms;
  • Service areas;
  • Delivery schedules;
  • Tracking systems;
  • Collection procedures; and
  • Delivery limitations.

GT Designs will take reasonable steps to select appropriate delivery providers but cannot control the day-to-day operation of an independent courier.

29. DELIVERY TO BUSINESSES, COMPLEXES AND OFFICES

Where delivery is made to a business, office, shopping centre, residential complex, estate, reception area or security-controlled premises, the customer should provide any information reasonably required for access.

GT Designs and its courier may rely on the delivery instructions provided by the customer.

Customers should ensure that the nominated recipient or reception/security personnel are aware that a delivery is expected.

30. RISK AND RECEIPT OF GOODS

GT Designs will take reasonable steps to ensure that products are appropriately packaged before dispatch.

Customers should promptly report any issue with an order after receiving it.

The allocation of risk and any statutory rights relating to delivery, defective products, damaged goods or non-conforming goods will be governed by applicable South African law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

31. DELIVERY CHARGES FOR RETURNS OR REPLACEMENTS

Where a return, replacement or re-delivery is required because of a confirmed defect, incorrect product or error attributable to GT Designs, the applicable delivery arrangements will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.

Where a return or re-delivery results from circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery charges may apply where legally permissible.

Please refer to our Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy for further information.

32. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Unless expressly agreed otherwise with GT Designs, our standard online delivery service is intended for destinations supported by our available delivery providers.

International orders may be subject to additional:

  • Shipping charges;
  • Customs requirements;
  • Import duties;
  • Taxes;
  • Customs clearance charges;
  • Documentation; and
  • Delivery restrictions.

Where international delivery is offered, the customer may be responsible for applicable import duties, taxes and other charges imposed by the destination country, unless otherwise expressly stated.

GT Designs does not control customs authorities or international delivery providers and cannot guarantee the time required for customs clearance.

33. SHIPPING INFORMATION AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

To fulfil a delivery, GT Designs may provide necessary customer information to a courier or other delivery provider.

This may include:

  • Customer name;
  • Contact number;
  • Delivery address;
  • Order reference; and
  • Other information reasonably required to complete the delivery.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection legislation.

34. DELIVERY FRAUD AND UNAUTHORISED REQUESTS

Customers should be cautious of messages requesting additional payment or personal information in relation to an order.

GT Designs will not intentionally request unnecessary sensitive information through an unverified third-party communication.

If you receive a suspicious delivery-related communication claiming to be from GT Designs, contact us directly using:

Telephone: 012 004 2492
WhatsApp: 073 077 4349
Email: info@gtdesignssa.com

35. FORCE MAJEURE

GT Designs will not be responsible for delivery or production delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Severe weather;
  • Power outages;
  • Internet outages;
  • Equipment failure;
  • Supplier disruptions;
  • Courier disruptions;
  • Strikes;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Government restrictions;
  • War;
  • Epidemics or pandemics; or
  • Other unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, GT Designs will notify affected customers and provide an updated estimated timeframe.

39. FINAL NOTICE

GT Designs aims to provide reliable production, packaging, collection and delivery services.
